Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Palitto - Film Muse mobile application (the "App") handles information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you have any questions, contact us using the details at the end of this page.
In short: the App has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or other contact details. Everything you create in the App — favorites, slideshows, edited posters and the images you add to them — is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to us. Third-party services the App relies on may collect information as described below.
Information You Create in the App
The following content is stored locally on your device, inside the App's private storage:
- Your favorite movies and TV shows.
- Slideshows you create, including their order, slide duration and display settings.
- Edited posters, including crop, adjustments, effects, overlay layers and the exported image.
- Your in-app language preference.
This content is never uploaded to us or shared with other users. You can delete any item inside the App at any time, and uninstalling the App removes all of it from your device.
Photo Library
When you add an overlay image to a poster, the App opens the system photo picker. Only the images you choose are copied into the App's storage on your device so that your poster can be edited later. The App does not read the rest of your photo library and does not upload your images.
Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Please review their privacy policies:
- The Movie Database (TMDB) — provides the movie and TV information and images shown in the App. Requests to TMDB include your search terms, your selected language and, like any internet request, your device's IP address. TMDB Privacy Policy
- YouTube (Google) — trailers play through the official YouTube embedded player. YouTube may collect information when a trailer is played. YouTube Terms of Service · Google Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob — AdMob privacy information
- Google Analytics for Firebase — Google Analytics for Firebase privacy information
- Firebase Crashlytics — Firebase privacy information
Log Data
In case of an error in the App, we may collect data and information on your device through third-party products such as Firebase Crashlytics. This Log Data may include your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the App, the time and date of your use of the App, and other statistics. Log Data does not include your favorites, slideshows, edited posters or photos.
Cookies
Cookies are small files commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. The App does not use cookies itself. However, third-party code and services it relies on, such as the embedded YouTube player and advertising or analytics services, may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information and improve their services.
Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the App, provide the App on our behalf, perform App-related services, or help us analyze how the App is used. These third parties may have access to information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Security
Content you create stays on your device, protected by the iOS app sandbox, and is only accessible to the App. Information exchanged with the third-party services above is sent over encrypted connections. Remember, however, that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links to Other Sites
The App may contain links to other sites, such as YouTube or the App Store. If you follow such a link, you will leave the App. These sites are not operated by us, so we strongly advise you to review their privacy policies. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from them. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and they take effect immediately after being posted.
